Supply Chain Lead

Overview

As Stock Planning Lead, you architect Bloom & Wild’s non-horticultural procurement and inventory function to scale with rapid growth. You’ll build the strategic framework, lead a team, and implement automated tools to improve availability while reducing waste and costs. You’ll partner with procurement, warehouse, and commercial teams to support multi-site operations and new range launches. This role offers hands-on leadership to shape end-to-end inventory processes in a fast-growing DTC business.

Responsibilities

• Define and scale the stock planning strategy for non-horticultural categories
• Lead multi-site stock availability, balancing availability with waste and cost
• Develop and automate supply chain and inventory tools, including AI workflows
• Establish standard processes and KPI dashboards to shift to proactive management
• Mentor and develop stock planners, building succession and resilience
• De-risk new range launches by maturing operational infrastructure for higher SKUs
• Support peak planning and execution as needed to ensure continuity
• Manage 3PW performance against SLAs and improve supplier performance reporting

Key requirements

• 5+ years in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or planning with team leadership experience
• Proven track record in scaling supply chains and managing SKU growth via automation
• Strong systems orientation with building automated tools (G Suite) and AI-driven workflows
• Leadership and mentoring skills with stakeholder management
• Continuous improvement mindset with ability to automate and optimize processes
• Commercial and data-driven mindset focused on margins and working capital
