Mobile Electrical Engineer

Overview

Experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer sought to support multiple commercial sites across London. You will lead planned and reactive maintenance, fault-find LV electrical systems, and ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards. You’ll work across building services equipment and HVAC-linked infrastructure, delivering reliable, safe operations. This role offers variety and progression within a busy, client-facing team that values proactive maintenance and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
• Diagnose faults and undertake repairs on low voltage electrical installations
• Maintain and inspect electrical and mechanical building services plant and equipment
• Fault-find on lighting, power, distribution systems, motors, generators, AHUs, chillers, and associated HVAC plant
• Complete electrical installation work, testing, inspection, and certification where required
• Ensure all work complies with current regulations, statutory requirements, and health & safety standards
• Contribute to maintaining safe systems of work across client sites
• Accurately complete maintenance records and compliance documentation
• Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with site stakeholders

Key requirements

• Level 2 & 3 Electrical Installation qualifications (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition (BS7671)
• NVQ Level 3 and AM2 or completed electrical apprenticeship desirable
• Inspection & Testing qualification (2391-52 or equivalent) preferred
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Previous experience in a mobile or commercial maintenance environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A proactive and safety-focused approach to work
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
