Lead Maintenance Engineer – FMCG Manufacturing Wembley

We are currently recruiting for a Lead Engineer to join a well-established and highly regarded FMCG manufacturer based in Wembley. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance engineer looking to step into a leadership role with clear progression.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position where you will play a key role in supporting the engineering team while remaining actively involved on the tools. The role offers strong career development, with the previous incumbent having recently progressed into a Maintenance Manager position.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment
• Diagnose and fault-find on mechanical and electrical systems
• Support and lead a team of engineers on shift
• Drive continuous improvement across maintenance processes
• Ensure high standards of safety, reliability, and performance

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
• Proven fault-finding and problem-solving ability
• Experience with both planned and reactive maintenance
• Demonstrated leadership qualities or supervisory experience
• Ideally from an FMCG or fast-paced production background
