Operations Manager – Multi-site Hospitality
Creative Hospitality Group · South Wales · Head office: Swansea Bay · Permanent · £55,000–£65,000 base, depending on experience
Creative Hospitality Group is looking for a hands‑on multi‑site Operations Manager to help our General Managers and venue teams deliver consistently.
This is a field‑based leadership role for someone who wants to understand what is really happening in our venues. You will spend substantial time on site during evenings, weekends and peak trading – not as permanent shift cover, but to observe, coach, challenge and help managers solve the right problems.
Working directly with our founder, you will turn strategy into operational action. You will give General Managers clarity, support and accountability; connect central support work with what needs to happen at site; and build routines, audits and operating standards that make good performance repeatable.
What you will own
- Translate company priorities into clear venue actions, measures and deadlines.
- Line‑manage and develop General Managers, recognising strong performance and addressing gaps.
- Maintain first‑hand operating knowledge through purposeful peak‑time site visits.
- Strengthen people, product and place through useful SOPs, audits and follow‑through.
- Ensure agreed cross‑functional projects and actions are implemented at venue level.
- Use technology, automation and practical data to reduce administration and give managers more time with teams and guests.
- Build durable solutions and management capability instead of repeated firefighting.
What we are looking for
You may already be an Area Manager, Operations Manager or Cluster Manager. You may be an exceptional high‑volume General Manager who can show leadership beyond one venue. Your title matters less than the evidence.
You need strong hospitality operating knowledge, sound people judgement, the confidence to support and challenge experienced General Managers, and the discipline to carry decisions through. Food, drink, entertainment or late‑night experience is valuable. EOS familiarity is welcome but not required.
Most of all, you should be curious, forward‑thinking and comfortable learning new products and systems. We are embracing technology to make the business work better while keeping leaders focused on people and guests.
