Learning and Development Transition Manager
Contract Length: 6 Months
Location: Westminster (Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite per week)
Security Clearance: SC Clearance required/eligible
Our client, a prominent organisation within the public services sector, is seeking a talented and experienced Learning and Development Transition Manager for a critical leadership role. This temporary position, based in Westminster, offers an exciting opportunity to shape the learning strategy for the Armed Forces Recruitment Service (AFRS) programme.
As a Learning and Development Transition Manager, the successful candidate will lead a team of specialists and Instructional Designers to design, develop, and implement a robust learning strategy aligned with Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) methodology.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the AFRS learning strategy and transition plan.
- Design and deliver innovative learning programmes for civilian and military personnel.
- Manage stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee apprenticeship delivery and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
- Utilise performance data to drive continuous improvement in learning outcomes.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Significant experience in Learning & Development leadership roles, particularly within Defence or Government sectors.
- Strong knowledge of DSAT and experience managing apprenticeship programmes.
- Proven ability to conduct Training Needs Analyses (TNA) and capability assessments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
