Public Sector Financial Control Lead (Hybrid)

Bury Council is seeking a Corporate Accountancy Manager to lead the production of the Statement of Accounts, oversee core accounting systems, and strengthen the Council’s Balance Sheet.

Reporting to the Strategic Finance Lead, you will provide technical advice to finance and non‑finance stakeholders, build relationships across the Council and external auditors, and benefit from a flexible hybrid arrangement (ideally 2 days in the office).
