Roofing Contracts Manager

Job Overview

We are working with an established roofing contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager (with a strong background in roofing) to join their team in Colchester. You will ideally have experience managing multiple projects and subcontractors, with excellent organisational, communication and commercial skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple roofing contracts from start to completion
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
• Managing programmes, budgets and project resources
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients and contractors
• Monitoring project progress and commercial performance
• Carrying out regular site visits across projects
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety requirements
• Resolving any operational or contractual issues
• Working closely with the commercial and operational teams

Requirements

• Proven management experience within the construction industry, specifically in roofing or related fields
• Construction related qualifications and certificates
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts efficiently
• Confident managing multiple contracts simultaneously
• Commercially aware with strong attention to detail
• An excellent communicator and relationship builder
• Comfortable dealing with clients, subcontractors and site teams
• Proactive, organised and able to work independently
• Full UK driving licence
