Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Implementing robust financial controls and policies to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Leading the budgeting process and providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborating with various departments to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Managing cash flow and financial planning to support the organisation’s growth objectives.
- Mentoring and developing a high-performing finance team to ensure peak performance.
- Liaising with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate audits and compliance.
Key Requirements:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA are highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, preferably within (insert industry).
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in an accessible manner.
