My client is one of the world’s leading manufacturers within their industry, a privately owned business. They are currently looking for a skilled Business Development Lead to support their sales and business development team.

Other suitable job titles include Business Development Representative, Sales Executive, Internal Sales Advisor, Sales Development Executive and Sales Development Representative.

Commutable from Draycott, Wells, Weston-super-Mareand and Glastonbury.

The Role – Business Development Lead:

• Taking enquiries over the phone from customers in a professional manner.
• Finding new business opportunities from dormant and new accounts by researching and investigating.
• Providing exceptional customer service and going above and beyond expectations.
• Creating and closing quotations/enquiries and recording them in an accurate manner.
• Collate quotes and issue these to customers on the same day and contact the customer to inform them of any delays.
• Managing all incoming enquiries through Business Lead Generation programmes.
• Following sales strategies set out, created and implemented by the Sales Manager.
• Call customers, chase orders, quotes and purchase orders.
• Liaise with Area Sales Managers daily regarding the processing of all sales, documentation, lead generation, and assist where necessary.
• Treat all sales work as a priority.
• Update the system with quote notes and files, job cards and photos, and notes and files.
• General admin where the business requires it.
• Perform any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the company.

Minimum Skills / Experience Required – Internal Sales Executive

• Proven experience and track record in sales.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent and professional telephone manner.
• Concise communication skills.
• Customer-focused.
• The ability to work well individually or as part of a team.
• Organised, with the ability to stay calm and confident when under pressure.

• £29,000 – £32,000 per annum
