Job Overview
Associate Director Fire Engineering job in the North West, leading the development of a new fire engineering service within an established built environment consultancy. Suited to a senior fire engineer with strong technical and commercial capability, the role covers fire strategies, design and compliance across healthcare, education, logistics, residential, commercial, mixed-use and high-rise projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a new Fire Engineering service
- Produce fire strategies, reports and technical design advice
- Build and develop the technical team
- Develop client relationships and support new work generation
- Collaborate with wider building safety consultancy teams
Skills & Experience Required
- Demonstrable experience leading complex Fire Engineering projects
- Relevant Fire Engineering, Structural Engineering or related degree
- Chartered Engineer preferred; candidates nearing chartership considered
- Strong fire legislation, guidance and PAS 9980 knowledge
- Commercial, client development and technical leadership capability
Salary & Benefits
- 70,000 – 90,000 depending on experience
