Wearerecruitingfora Engineering & Construction Senior / ClaimsAdjuster onbehalfofahighlyregardedLloyd’s/LondonMarketInsurer.

ThesuccessfulcandidatewillberesponsibleforhandlingavarietyofEngineering and Construction claimsfromaroundtheworld,andadjustingclaimsfromtheirinitialnotificationthroughsettlement.

KeyResponsibilities

• Proactivelyadjustingclaimsthroughtoresolution.
• Ensuringthatsufficientfinancialprovisionsareheldforallclaims.
• Developingcollaborativeworkingrelationshipswithinternalandexternalstakeholders,inparticularwiththeUnderwritersandActuaries.
• EnsuringeffectivetechnicaloversightofTPAs/ServiceProvidersviaregularcontactmeetings,peerreviews,aswellastechnicalfilereviews.
• InstructingandproactivelyworkingwithPanelLawyers,Adjusters,andExpertstoensurethebestoutcomeswhilstcontrollingcostsandreducingclaimsleakage.

KeyRequirements

• AClaimsHandlerwithextensivepriorexperienceofEngineering and or Construction claimsadjusting.
• Understandingofpolicycoverage,claimsnegotiationskillsandclaimsstrategy.
• Understandingandapplyinglegal,regulatoryandterritorialissues.
• Usingstronganalyticalandproblemsolvingskills.
• KnowledgeoftheLloyd’sinsurancemarketispreferred.
• Actingwithhonesty,integrityandfairnessatalltimeswiththewillingnesstotakeresponsibilityandaccountability.
• Apositive,enthusiasticandconfidentdisposition.
