• Lead all event enquiries – Respond promptly, professionally, and personably.
• Manage the full booking process – From first contact to post-event follow-up.
• Build guest relationships – Understanding each client’s vision and delivering it with care.
• Produce detailed event plans – Including function sheets and timelines for the wider team.
• Coordinate with kitchen & FOH teams – Ensuring seamless communication and smooth execution.
• Deliver exceptional events – Weddings, private dining, meetings, celebrations, and more.
• Drive sales growth – Develop partnerships, attract new clients, and increase repeat business.
• Monitor performance – Track revenue, budgets, and guest feedback to support continuous improvement.

At The Wellington Arms, we’re searching for an experienced, organised, and people-focused Wedding and Events Manager to lead our events offering – from intimate celebrations and private dining to weddings, business gatherings and seasonal experiences., We’re looking for an organised, outgoing, and commercially focused leader who can elevate our events offering.

• Proven experience in events or sales – Preferably within hospitality or venues.
• Excellent communication skills – Friendly, professional, and confident with clients.
• Strong commercial awareness – Able to grow revenue, convert enquiries, and maximise opportunities.
• Organisation & planning – A natural multi-tasker with great attention to detail.
• Creative problem-solving – Calm, adaptable, and focused when plans change.
• Team collaboration – Works closely with front-of-house, kitchen, and management teams.
