Cookstown, Co. Tyrone | Permanent, Full Time (39.75 hrs) | Competitive salary + bonus

Fusion People are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of one of our esteemed clients, a global manufacturer of specialist heavy equipment with a busy production site in Cookstown.

What you’ll be doing

• Reviewing current manufacturing processes and driving continuous improvement
• Leading on containment, root-cause analysis and corrective actions when production issues arise
• Applying lean tools such as 5S, Poka-Yoke and structured problem solving to improve flow
• Implementing engineering changes on the shop floor and keeping accurate records
• Carrying out time studies to support production planning and labour management
• Supporting new product development, advising on tooling and fixtures and overseeing prototype builds
• Working with cross-functional teams to solve problems and hit deadlines

What we’re looking for

• An HNC, HND or degree in engineering
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing
• Confident with Microsoft Office
• Experience with 3D modelling software, ERP/MRP systems (such as Oracle), machine shop or fabrication would all be a bonus
• Organised, methodical and calm under pressure, with a sharp eye for detail
