The Role
The procurement administrator provides first line, day to day administrative support to the procurement function, ensuring efficient handling of procurement queries.
This role enables the wider procurement team to focus on strategic, governance and value-driven activity.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for routine procurement queries from sites and stakeholders
- Support the raising, tracking and management of procurement forms
- Assist with inbox management and routing of procurement requests
- To collect, interpret and review information and provide summaries to the wider team
Person Specification
Essential skills and Experience
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with systems and spreadsheets
- Confident communicating with internal teams and suppliers
- Keen to learn and develop within procurement
