- Research and target local businesses, industry trends, and fleet opportunities to identify new sales prospects as theBusiness Development Manager
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients through tailored presentations and effective communication
- Arrange and conduct appointments at client premises or dealership, ensuring detailed documentation of activities
- Collaborate with sales, service, fleet, and management teams to maximise sales opportunities and customer satisfaction
- Attend local business meetings, chamber of commerce events, and networking functions to develop new partnerships
- Manage customer data accurately within CRM systems, including GDPR preferences and contact details
- Oversee the full customer journey from vehicle order to delivery, maintaining high standards of customer care
- Proven experience in B2B vehicle sales or a similar sales environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to quickly establish rapport
- Strong IT literacy, with experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence held for at least 6 months, with fewer than 9 penalty points
- Evidence of right to work in the UK
- Demonstrable negotiation skills in complex situations as theBusiness Development Manager
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
