Are you a confident and personable customer service professional who enjoys building relationships and speaking to customers?
We are recruiting for a Customer Service Executive to join an established and successful business based in Aldershot.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with B2B customer service experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. You don’t need to be an experienced salesperson or Account Manager – we’re looking for someone who is naturally good with people, comfortable picking up the phone and genuinely enjoys developing relationships with customers.
You’ll look after a portfolio of business customers, becoming a familiar and trusted point of contact while helping with their day-to-day requirements. You’ll also proactively keep in touch with customers, follow up on enquiries and identify opportunities where the business can provide further support.
This is not a call-center or scripted telesales position. It’s about having genuine conversations, understanding your customers and providing a great service.
What you’ll be doing
- Building strong relationships with existing B2B customers
- Speaking with customers regularly over the telephone
- Managing customer enquiries and providing a high level of service
- Proactively keeping in touch with your customer base
- Understanding customers’ requirements and identifying how you can support them
- Following up on enquiries, quotations and previous conversations
- Welcoming and supporting new customers
- Reconnecting with customers who haven’t been in touch recently
- Identifying opportunities for repeat and additional business
- Providing information on products and services
- Maintaining accurate customer information on the CRM
- Working closely with other departments to ensure customers receive an excellent service
What we’re looking for
You could currently be working in customer service, customer support, sales support, internal sales, account support or another B2B customer-facing position.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience dealing with business customers
- Is confident and comfortable speaking to customers on the phone
- Has a friendly, positive and engaging personality
- Builds rapport naturally
- Is proactive and happy to make outbound customer calls
- Provides excellent customer service
- Is organised and good at following things through
- Has good attention to detail
- Is comfortable working with CRM or customer management systems
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- Has some commercial awareness and can recognise opportunities
You do not need previous Account Management experience. If you’re currently working in B2B customer service and would like more ownership of your customer relationships and the opportunity to develop commercially, we’d love to hear from you.
Salary: £30,000 – £33,500
