We’re currently working with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy that is looking to appoint an
Associate Director Building Surveyor
to join its Bristol team.
This is a senior opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career, with the opportunity to work across a strong portfolio of
public sector and education projects , ranging from smaller works through to major capital programmes valued at
£30m+ .
The RoleYou’ll be involved in delivering a broad range of Building Surveying and project management services, working closely with public sector clients and supporting projects from inception through to completion.
Your experience is likely to include:Project management of education and public sector projects ranging from
£100k to £30mContract administration across a range of standard forms of contractWorking through established
public sector frameworksCondition surveys and technical due diligencePlanned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programmesBuilding fabric assessments and lifecycle planningDilapidations and schedules of conditionPreparation of specifications, tender documentation and reportsManaging projects from feasibility and design through to completionClient management and development of long-term relationshipsSupporting and mentoring junior members of the Building Surveying teamAbout You
We’re looking for an experienced Building Surveyor operating at
Associate Director level , or someone ready to make that step.
Ideally, you will have:MRICS qualificationStrong Building Surveying backgroundSignificant experience delivering
education and/or public sector projectsProven project management and contract administration experienceExperience working across public sector frameworksStrong technical surveying knowledge, including condition surveys, PPM and dilapidationsExcellent client-facing and communication skillsExperience managing projects and/or teamsThis is an opportunity to join an established consultancy with a significant public sector workload, giving you exposure to
large-scale education programmes alongside a varied Building Surveying portfolio .
