Health Care Support Worker: Permanent (37.5 hours) Bluebell Ward is a 25 bedded community based unit focused on discharge to assess and complex discharges. Patients are discharged to our unit when they are medically fit to leave hospital but they can not go home as they may need more rehabilitation, or equipment in their home or support with care. Our focus always is home first and we have a multi-disciplinary team of nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, discharge coordinators, social workers and health care support workers to ensure our patients receive the best care and support to get them home as soon as possible., As a health care support worker on Bluebell you play an absolutely fundamental role in ensuring our patients are well cared for, listened to and supported. Your role would be to provide personal care as required, supporting with nutritional & hydration needs, helping with patient safety and skin integrity under the supervision of qualified nursing staff.
