Senior Administrator / Assistant

Location: Luton (Office Based). Rate: £13.94 – £15.82 per hour (depending on experience). Contract: From 1st October until 18th December 2026, with the potential for extension following review. Hours: Full-Time.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a confident and highly organised Senior Administrator / Assistant to provide dedicated support to senior leaders within a busy and professional organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrator, PA or junior Executive Assistant looking to further develop their career while working closely with executive-level stakeholders. The successful candidate will initially support the Principal/CEO and Executive Director of Finance & Operations, with the opportunity to provide cover for the Executive Director of People & Culture at a later stage. This is a fully office-based position, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, thrives on variety, and can manage highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing high-level administrative support to senior leadership.
  • Managing complex diaries, appointments and meeting schedules.
  • Coordinating and organising meetings and events.
  • Taking accurate notes and producing professional meeting minutes.
  • Preparing document packs, reports and meeting bundles.
  • Creating engaging presentations, slides and supporting documentation.
  • Welcoming visitors and stakeholders, ensuring a professional experience.
  • Offering refreshments and supporting meeting arrangements.
  • Handling confidential and sensitive information with complete discretion.
  • Using AI tools and technology to improve efficiency and support administrative tasks.
  • Providing general administration support as required.

About You

  • A proactive self-starter with a positive and enthusiastic approach.
  • Confident supporting senior stakeholders and executives.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experienced in diary management and meeting coordination.
  • Skilled in minute taking and producing professional documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and presentation creation.
  • Comfortable using AI tools and embracing new technology.
  • Professional, friendly and approachable.
  • Able to work independently and prioritise a busy workload.
  • Trustworthy and experienced in handling confidential information.
  • An ambitious Administrator, PA or junior Executive Assistant with strong skills and confidence.
