The role
This is an exciting development opportunity to join the Estate Planning Team within Land Stewardship, supporting the planning, delivery and long-term success of woodland creation projects across Wales. The role plays an important part in helping Natural Resources Wales respond to the climate and nature emergencies by supporting the establishment of new forests that will provide environmental, social and economic benefits for generations to come.
Working as part of a small, supportive and dynamic team, you will be involved in a wide range of estate and woodland creation activities across Wales, gaining valuable experience in project delivery, contract management, stakeholder engagement and woodland establishment. The post offers flexible and hybrid working arrangements, with regular opportunities to collaborate with colleagues and partners throughout the country. Reporting to Caroline Riches, you will contribute to projects that have a lasting impact on Wales’s natural environment while developing your own technical knowledge and professional skills.
