Production Operative – Runcorn, Cheshire
People Solutions are currently recruiting forProduction Operativesto join our well-established client based inRuncorn, Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering£12.71 – £13.21 per hour, increasing to£13.58 per hour after 12 weeks, Monday to Friday working, no weekend work, ongoing assignments, and genuine opportunities to secure a permanent position.
This role would suit candidates with experience as a Production Operative, Assembly Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Machine Operative, Warehouse Operative, Factory Operative, General Operative, or Production Assistant.
Shifts
- Monday to Friday – Rotating shifts:06:45 – 14:45 | 14:45 – 22:45 | 22:45 – 06:45
- Must be able to work all three rotating shifts
Rates of Pay
- £12.71 – £13.21 per hour
- Increasing to£13.58 per hour after 12 weeks

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Production Operative, your duties will include:
- Loading raw materials into production machinery
- Carrying out quality inspections on moulded products
- Packing finished products into boxes
- Labelling boxes and ensuring correct colour coding
- Shrink-wrapping products and stacking pallets ready for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Essential Skills
As a Production Operative, you will need:
- Availability to work the rotating shift pattern
- A good eye for detail and a responsible approach to work
- A willingness to learn and develop within the role
- A communicative level of English
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable Experience
Previous experience within a production, manufacturing, warehouse, or factory environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
