Deaf Education: Communication Support Specialist

City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Communication Support Worker to join the citywide Deaf Support Team. The role provides bespoke communication support to deaf children and young people in Early Years settings, schools and across the city, promoting inclusion and deaf awareness.

You will interpret, translate and use aligned communication methods (BSL, Sign-Supported English, lip-speaking, scribing) as needed, supporting staff to ensure pupils access learning. PVG checks are required.
