About the Role
Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor / Team Leader on behalf of a well-established business based in Mansfield (NG18).
This is an urgent permanent position, and the successful candidate will ideally be available to start as soon as possible.
The role will involve supervising two warehouse operatives while working closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the day-to-day warehouse operation.
This is a hands-on position and would suit an experienced Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader, as well as a strong Senior Warehouse Operative looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support two warehouse operatives, ensuring daily workloads are effectively managed
- Allocate tasks and monitor workflow to ensure operational requirements are met
- Lead by example within a hands-on warehouse environment
- Manually count, check and process goods in and out of the warehouse
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to support the daily operation
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Ensure warehouse procedures and health and safety requirements are followed
- Support the wider team with general warehouse duties as required
Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is desirable
- Experienced Senior Warehouse Operatives looking to progress will also be considered
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse environment
- Forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential, as training can be provided
Working Hours & Salary
Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
30-minute break
£26,561.60 per annum (£12.77 per hour)
Salary may be negotiable for the right candidate, depending on experience.
