Are you an experienced Forklift & Stores Operator with valid in date Counterbalance and Bendi | Flexi licenses and hold a clean driving license, looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with a company that genuinely values its people?
Due to continued growth, our client, a well-established and highly respected manufacturing business in Corby, is looking to strengthen its warehouse team with the addition of a reliable and motivated Forklift & Stores Operator.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in keeping stock moving efficiently, supporting production and ensuring customers receive excellent service. You’ll be joining a friendly, supportive team with excellent staff retention and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing and maintaining accurate stock levels
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
- Picking, packing and despatching customer orders
- Operating Counterbalance and Bendi forklift trucks
- Completing works orders and despatch documentation
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised stores environment
- Assisting with customer collections when required
- Delivering parts to field engineers when necessary
- Supporting the Stores Team Manager with day-to-day operations
- Always Following all Health & Safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Previous stores, warehouse or logistics experience
- Valid Counterbalance and Bendi forklift licences
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Team player who can also work independently
- Flexible approach when business needs require it
