The Job
- Operate LGV vehicles for the delivery and collection of animal feed product safely, effectively, and efficiently within the law to meet customer needs.
- Deliver feed efficiently to generate revenue and ensure fleet profitability.
- Provide outstanding service to customers, promote the company brand, and confidently identify and solve customer needs.
- Ensure the vehicle is driven in compliance with the Operator’s Licence and legal requirements.
- Maintain a safe working manner prioritizing health and safety of self, colleagues, stakeholders, and the public.
- Complete daily tasks and routines timely, with flexibility to support fleet efficiency.
- Review and improve driving style and performance to support fuel efficiency standards.
- Report and address concerns regarding quality, service, environmental, and safety issues promptly.
- Adhere to Company and Group policies related to Safety, Health and Environmental standards.
- Comply with relevant legislation and codes of practice, including UFAS, FIAS, & NOPS assurance schemes.
Skills, Experience, and Qualities Required
- LGV Licence (Desirable Class 1)
- Flexible approach to work, including delivering bulk feed as required
- Excellent communicator able to build strong relationships
- Ability to work independently and use own initiative
- Experience of Animal feed / Agriculture
