Class 2 Recycling & Waste Driver

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Class 2 Recycling & Waste Driver to join our team in Calne.

This is a great opportunity for a professional HGV Class 2 Driver looking for regular, ongoing work with the opportunity to become permanent.

The Role

• Drive a Class 2 HGV safely and responsibly.
• Carry out local waste and recycling collections.
• Work as part of a team with loaders and collection crews.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure waste and recycling is collected safely and efficiently.
• Follow all company, health & safety and environmental procedures.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers and members of the public.

Requirements

• Waste, recycling or refuse experience is desirable but not essential
• Good knowledge of road safety and driving regulations
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Comfortable working as part of a team and undertaking some physical work
