Warehouse Operative
Job Location: Sturminster Marshall, Dorset
Job Type: Temporary – Permanent
Salary: £12.71 per hour / £508.40 per week / £26,436.80 per annum
Hours: 40 hour per week; Monday – Friday 8.30am to 5pm
A busy distribution centre based in Wimborne is seeking to add to their team with an additional Warehouse Operative to work on a permanent contract with the business.
Working within a team of 8 you will be involved in all aspects of dispatching orders, receiving deliveries, and managing stock. The role requires a confident, hands-on individual who has previous experience working within a fulfilment warehouse environment.
Responsibilities include;
- Pick and pack orders.
- Receive incoming deliveries, unpack pallets, and containers.
- Check incoming deliveries, repack, and label for accurate store away.
- Replenish stock locations and move goods between stock locations.
The successful applicant will possess;
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment
- Attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy required across a variety of tasks.
- Good timekeeper and organised work style
- Computer literate and experience using warehouse management software and handhelds.
