We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operator to join our successful client based in Pucklechurch, South Gloucestershire. Reporting to the Team Leader and working as part of a small warehouse and assembly team, this role will suit someone who has previous experience working in goods in / goods out within a warehouse environment. A full UK driving licence is essential, as the role may involve some delivery work (adhoc).
Duties of the Warehouse Operator will involve:
- Receiving and processing of Goods In
- Checking deliveries off against purchase orders
- Booking stock in on the warehouse management system
- Picking components and finished goods, checking against lists and packing orders
- Preparing for despatch
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Some FLT work
In addition the candidate will be required to carry out some deliveries or collections on a adhoc basis as well as some customer visits, so must have a full UK driving licence. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong literacy skills and a basis understanding of computers (including Word, Excel and Emails). A counterbalance forklift licence would be ideal, however this is not essential as training will be provided.
