The Role:

As a Technical Repair Coordinator,you will be responsible for a variety of tasks crucial to the repair process ofclaims. Your main duties will include:

• Instructing repairers on new andexisting claims.
• Allocating vehicles to appropriaterepairers or finding alternatives if needed.
• Authorising estimates within setlimits and escalating those exceeding limits to Engineers.
• Processing estimates,supplementary estimates, and invoices.
• Liaising with Engineers,Repairers, and Insurers for updates.
• Providing updates to Trusts,Scheme members, and Drivers on repair progress.
• Reviewing end-of-lease charges.
• Supporting assigned handlers withrepair actions.
• Updating claim status and records.
• Handling incoming calls to thedepartment.

Experience:

• Previous office experience isessential

Qualifications:

• GCSE (or equivalent) in Englishand Maths is essential.

Skills:

• A confident telephone manner.
• High-level interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to follow set proceduresmeticulously.
• Computer literate with goodcomputer and keyboard skills.
• Strong planning, organisational,and time management skills.
• A flexible approach to work, withthe ability to adapt to new practices.
