As Senior Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of the project, ensuring it is completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.You will work closely with the client, consultants, subcontractors and internal project team, providing strong leadership throughout the project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the £15m refurbishment projectLead and manage the project team and wider site teamManage programme, budget, quality and health & safetyCoordinate subcontractors, consultants and key stakeholdersMonitor project progress and drive programme performanceManage commercial and contractual requirements alongside the commercial teamLead project meetings and provide regular progress reportsIdentify and manage project risks and opportunitiesEnsure all works are delivered in accordance with the required specifications and standardsMaintain strong client relationships throughout the projectAbout You
The successful candidate will have:Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within the construction industryExperience delivering large-scale refurbishment / cut and carve projectsExperience managing projects in the region of £10m+Strong leadership and stakeholder management skillsExcellent knowledge of construction programmes, project delivery and commercial managementStrong communication and organisational skillsRelevant construction qualificationsSMSTS and Black CSCSNVQ Level 6 or 7This is an excellent opportunity to join a major project in Guildford, working with an established construction business on a high-value refurbishment scheme
