Procurement Lead – Marketing

London | £90,000 – £110,000 + 15% Bonus

I’m currently recruiting for an Indirect Procurement Manager to lead Marketing procurement across Europe for a global business.

This is a broad Marketing Procurement role, taking responsibility for categories including Media, Creative & Agency Services, PR, Events & Activations, Brand Campaigns and MarTech.

Working within a global procurement function, you’ll partner closely with Marketing and other senior stakeholders across Europe, while collaborating with global procurement colleagues to develop and execute category strategies, deliver commercial value and strengthen the regional supplier landscape.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic sourcing activity across a broad portfolio of Marketing spend.
  • Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies aligned with both European requirements and global procurement objectives.
  • Lead supplier selection, competitive tendering, negotiation and contracting.
  • Manage strategic agency and supplier relationships, including performance, KPIs and continuous improvement.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Finance, Operations and Legal stakeholders.
  • Analyse spend and identify opportunities for cost reduction, value creation and improved commercial outcomes.
  • Provide insight into the European Marketing supplier landscape and leverage global procurement frameworks where appropriate.
  • Support the continued development of procurement capability across the European business.

About you:

  • Strong Indirect Procurement experience, ideally gained within a large, complex and international organisation.
  • Demonstrable Marketing Procurement expertise, with experience across multiple areas of Marketing spend.
  • Strong knowledge of Media and Agency procurement in particular.
  • Proven experience leading complex sourcing and commercial negotiations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence within a global, matrix environment.
  • Experience within retail, consumer or similarly fast-paced organisations would be advantageous.
  • Comfortable operating across European and global supplier markets.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an international procurement function and take ownership of a highly visible Marketing category across Europe.
