About the role
The role involves managing, supervising, and supporting the development of the Child and Family Centre team to deliver Family Hub services that address locally identified needs across Fenland meeting the outcomes of Cambridgeshire’s Best Start in Life.
Responsibilities include providing leadership and management, as well as facilitating integrated service delivery with key partners based on the requirements of local needs.
You will also have the responsibility to manage the budget for the Child and Family Centre/Family Hub for Fenland. This role is key to ensuring the effective management of resources, particularly deployment of staff and working collaboratively with partners to maximise resources.
About you
We are seeking an inspiring and experienced leader who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and families. You will bring strong operational management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams, manage resources effectively, and deliver high-quality, inclusive services across a range of settings. You will be confident working collaboratively with partners, using data and insight to shape services, and engaging familiesparticularly those who may find it harder to access support. With a solid understanding of safeguarding, early years development, and relevant legislation, you will be committed to providing a responsive, community-focused service that meets local needs and drives continuous improvement.
