Group Finance Manager

A growing, PE backed technology business is seeking a Group Finance Manager to join its expanding finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role will support accurate and timely group reporting while strengthening financial controls, improving processes and helping build a scalable finance function.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to make a tangible impact across financial reporting, controls, payroll, process improvement and finance transformation as the business continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support monthly management accounts and month-end close.
• Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Assist with group consolidation and multi-entity reporting.
• Maintain and improve financial controls and processes.
• Support cash flow, working capital and forecasting activities.
• Coordinate annual audit requirements and supporting schedules.
• Oversee payroll processing, reconciliations and payroll reporting.
• Support reporting on payroll costs, benefits, bonuses and headcount.
• Partner with operational and finance teams to improve financial visibility.
• Contribute to finance transformation, automation and systems improvement.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to senior finance stakeholders.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong technical accounting and management reporting experience.
• Experience within a technology, high-growth or PE backed environment would be advantageous

• Strong Excel and financial systems skills.
• Experience with payroll processes and controls.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, commercially minded approach.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
