Ashton Recruitment is currently recruiting for Machine Operators to join the Finishing Department of our highly reputable client based in Lisburn.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, secure working environment where attention to detail, quality and confidentiality are essential. Previous machine operating experience would be advantageous, but full training will be provided.
Position: Machine Operators – Finishing Department
Location: Lisburn
Duration: Temporary – permanent
Starting Salary: £12.71 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm (30 minute lunch, 15 x 2 breaks) Finishing Dept
Benefits: 25 days holidays + 9 statutory holidays, Company Pension 4% contribution, Sick pay
As a Machine Operator, you’ll play an important part in the finishing stages of the production process, helping to ensure products are completed to a high standard and customer requirements are met.
Your duties will include:
- Operating machinery and supporting key finishing processes
- Working to tight customer SLA and KPI targets
- Ensuring products are finished to a high-quality standard
- Maintaining accurate administration and records
- Following all Health & Safety procedures
- Carrying out equipment checks and maintaining good housekeeping
- Working within a secure and confidential environment
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and other members of the team

- A reliable and positive approach to work
- Previous experience operating similar machinery (desirable)
- A willingness to learn – full training will be provided
