About you
- At least 1 year’s catering experience, including cooking responsibilities
- Experience with operating catering equipment and stock management
- Knowledge of health and safety and hygiene regulations in catering environments
- Strong team player with good organisational skills
- Reliable and proactive in managing daily tasks
What you’ll do
- Assist in the preparation and opening of canteen, training restaurant, and kitchens, ensuring readiness for service
- Operate catering equipment safely and assist staff and students with their use
- Support the delivery of catering services, including cash handling and stock management
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in all catering areas
- Help with setting up and clearing away furniture and equipment for events and activities
