People Operations Manager – Antrim
MCS Group is partnering with a growing organisation to appoint a People Operations Manager into a newly created leadership role.
The role:
This is a hands-on opportunity to lead a centralised people support function, improve how employee services are delivered and build a consistent, responsive service across a complex organisation.
The main responsibilities:
- Leading and developing a People Operations team.
- Managing service levels, workloads, workflows and quality standards.
- Acting as the escalation point for complex employee queries and cases.
- Improving processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding.
- Using data and service insights to identify improvements.
- Supporting the implementation and effective use of a new HR system.
- Remaining involved in operational delivery during busy periods.
The ideal candidate:
- Experience leading, coaching and developing an operational team.
- A strong understanding of shared-services, people-services or centralised support models.
- Experience managing high volumes of employee and manager queries across the full employee lifecycle.
- The ability to oversee complex cases and act as a confident escalation point for the team.
- Experience setting and monitoring service levels, workflows, performance measures and quality standards.
- A track record of improving processes, service delivery and the overall employee experience.
- Strong systems capability, ideally including experience implementing or improving HR platforms, ticketing systems or case-management tools.
- The ability to use data and service insights to identify trends, manage demand and drive continuous improvement.
