Due to continued growth and an increase in customer demand, we are seeking experienced MIG Welders to join a busy production team working on a range of high-quality fabricated products.
Your New Role
As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds and fabrications to engineering drawings and specifications. You will work as part of a skilled manufacturing team, ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently Responsibilities:
- MIG welding of mild steel components and assemblies
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Fabricating and assembling products to specification
- Performing quality checks on completed work
- Operating workshop equipment and hand tools safely
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Working efficiently to meet production schedules
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Previous MIG welding experience within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant welding qualifications are advantageous but not essential
