Class 1 Driver (HGV Class 1) – West Thurrock

Full-Time | Permanent | £39,000 per annum

A growing and well-established transport and logistics company is looking for a professional and dependable Class 1 Driver to join its expanding operation based in West Thurrock, Essex.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 1 Driver seeking a permanent role with a reputable employer. The successful Class 1 Driver will complete daily multi-drop deliveries across the M25 corridor, alongside collections and deliveries from major UK ports including Felixstowe, London Gateway and Southampton.

Key Responsibilities

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving using curtain-sided trailers and container skellies
• Daily multi-drop deliveries and collections
• Container transport to and from major UK ports
• Safe, compliant and efficient delivery of goods
• Maintaining excellent customer service and delivery standards

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Driver CPC Qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Port cards for Felixstowe, Southampton and London Gateway (or willingness to obtain)
• Previous multi-drop, container, port haulage or general haulage experience advantageous
• Good geographical knowledge of London, Essex, the M25 and surrounding areas
