Job Description Are you an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer looking for your next opportunity with a growing building services consultancy? n We are currently working with an established and expanding consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its team in either Cardiff or Bristol . n This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who wants to take ownership of projects, develop client relationships and play an active role in mentoring and developing junior engineers. n nThe Rolen n As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical building services designs across a variety of projects, whilst taking a lead role in project delivery and team coordination. n You will work closely with clients, other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders, providing technical expertise from initial concept through to completion. n nKey Responsibilitiesn n n Lead electrical design and delivery across all RIBA stages. n Take responsibility for electrical engineering elements of projects from concept through to completion. n Manage projects and coordinate engineering teams. n Develop strong client relationships and manage stakeholder communications. n Provide technical leadership and support to less experienced engineers. n Undertake technical reviews and contribute to quality assurance processes. n Carry out site inspections and provide commissioning support where required. n Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations and best practice. n Contribute to the continued development and growth of the electrical engineering team. n n n The successful candidate will ideally have strong experience across a range of electrical building services systems, including: n n LV distribution and switchgear. n Electrical load and cable calculations, ideally using Amtech / ElectricalOM . n Generator, transformer and UPS systems. n Lighting design using Dialux / Relux . n Fire alarm and life safety systems. n HV infrastructure and private networks. n CAD and BIM software. n Electrical design across multiple RIBA stages. n n nAbout Youn n We are looking for an experienced electrical engineer who can demonstrate: n n 5+ years’ experience within electrical building services design. n Previous experience leading projects and coordinating or managing engineering teams. n Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness. n Excellent communication and client-facing skills. n The ability to work independently and take ownership of project delivery. n A proactive approach to problem solving and technical design. n Membership of CIBSE or IET , or actively working towards membership. n A desire to achieve Chartered Engineer status . n n nWhat’s on Offer?n n n Salary up to £65,000 , depending on experience. n Flexible and hybrid working. n Private medical insurance. n Company reward scheme. n Wellbeing initiatives and incentives. n Structured career progression. n Mentoring and support towards chartership. n The opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of building services projects. n A genuine opportunity to take a senior role within a growing team. n n n Apply now with your CV for a confidential conversation about the opportunity. n n JBRP1_UKTJ
