Job Description CNC Turner – Lathe Setter / Operator (Fanuc) n Location n Aylesbury, Bucks n Pay n Good (dependant on experience) n Shift n Early or Day Shift n Purpose of Role n CNC Turners to work on fixed-head, Fanuc-controlled machines. n Looking for experienced setters and operators rather than programmers. n To set and operate CNC Doosan and Nakamura lathes with Fanuc controls, producing precision-engineered components safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. n Key Responsibilities n •Set and operate CNC turning machines n •Load tooling, set offsets, and prepare machines for production n •Read and interpret engineering drawings n •Carry out first-off and in-process inspections n •Use micrometres, verniers, bore gauges, and other measuring equipment n •Maintain machine performance and minimise downtime n •Support continuous improvement and TPM activities n •Work to production schedules and quality requirements n •Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety n Essential Skills & Experience n •Proven CNC turning experience n •Fanuc control experience n •Ability to set and operate CNC lathes independently n •Strong drawing interpretation skills n •Good inspection and measurement experience n •Positive attitude and strong attention to detail n Desirable n •Aerospace or precision engineering experience n •Multi-axis CNC turning experience n •Experience with Nakamura, Doosan, Puma, or similar machines n •Knowledge of GD&T n What Success Looks Like n •Parts produced right first time n •High quality standards maintained n •Machines running efficiently n •Positive contribution to delivery performance and team objectives n n JBRP1_UKTJ
