Job Description Job Title: Class 2 Driver – Refuse Wagon Driver n Location: Farnhamn Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour + £2.11 holiday pay = £19.61 per hour totaln Shifts: Monday to Friday (06:00am – 15:00pm) n Driver Type: Class 2 – refuse drivern Experience: 12 months class 2 experience – essentialn Contract : Temp to Permn n Fifth Wheel Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Drivers in Farnham to work with our client, who provide all types of business with commercial waste disposal and recycling.n n Previous experience working in the waste industry would be beneficial.n Employee Benefits: n Competitive Salary: £17.50 per hour + £2.11 holiday pay = £19.61 per hour total n Immediate Starts: Begin earning immediatelyn Weekly Pay: Payday every Fridayn Overtime Opportunities: Boost your earningsn Career Growth: Excellent opportunitiesn Hours: n n n Monday to Friday working n Shift time: 6.00am – 15:00pm n Roles & Responsibilities: n n n Driving and operating a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle n Collecting refuse from different local areas each day n Working with a loading crew (handballing) n Assisting with the manual movement of domestic wheelie bins n Working safely around pedestrians, traffic, and other road users n Completing vehicle checks at the start and end of your shift n All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.n About you: n n n You will need to be reliable, punctual and safety conscious. n You must be comfortable working as part of a team and assisting with physical/manual work when required n You must have good communication skills n You must have a positive attitude n You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 6 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.n n You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
