Job Description CNC Milling Programmer/Operator/Setter -Perm-Oxford-£40k-£50k n We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Milling Programmer /Setter /Operator to join a modern engineering and manufacturing business producing complex, high-quality components. n The Role of the CNC Milling Programmer/Operator/Setter – n You will be responsible for the programming, setting and operation of CNC milling machines, working from engineering drawings and producing components to high standards of accuracy and quality. n Key responsibilities of the CNC Milling Programmer/Operator/Setter include – n n Programming, setting and operating 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machines n Online programming using Heidenhain controls n Reading and interpreting engineering drawings n Selecting tooling and optimising machine setups n Machining large and complex components n Inspecting and measuring your own work n Working to tolerances specified on engineering drawings n Maintaining high standards of quality and achieving right-first-time production n Supporting continuous improvement and efficient manufacturing n Working safely and maintaining an organised working environment n n The ideal CNC Milling Programmer/Operator/Setter will have: n n Proven experience as a CNC Miller / Programmer Setter Operator n Strong experience with Heidenhain n Previous 5-axis milling experience n Experience working with larger components n Good understanding of engineering drawings and machining processes n Ability to work independently and meet deadlines n Strong attention to detail and quality n Good communication skills and a positive, reliable attitude considered. n Experience with Fanuc controls and a variety of CNC machine types would be beneficial. n n You’ll be joining a professional, well-organised manufacturing environment with modern CNC equipment and a strong focus on quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.
