Domino Clamps is a small, fast-growing company with a unique engineering product that changes the way people reuse shipping containers. We sell our clamps and accessories online and directly to customers around the world, across sectors including construction, events, engineering and defence.
We are looking for a practical, organised and reliable person to take responsibility for stock and fulfilment at our new warehouse and office premises in Waltham Forest. You will make sure customer orders leave accurately and on time, products meet our quality standards, and stock is replenished well ahead of demand.
This is a hands-on role combining picking, packing and product preparation with computer-based stock management, purchasing and supplier coordination. Initially, you will be the sole person dedicated to warehouse work, alongside colleagues working in other parts of the business on site.
We are a small, close-knit team looking for someone who wants to grow with us over the long term. You will have a meaningful say in how the warehouse works and an opportunity to contribute ideas to the ongoing running and development of the company. With products going to customers worldwide, this is also an opportunity to develop your experience in international shipping and logistics.
What you will be doing
Order fulfilment
· Pick and pack customer orders as boxed parcels or palletised shipments.
· Print and check labels and packing lists using documentation prepared by the Sales Coordinator.
· Ensure orders are accurate, securely packed and ready for collection.
· Flag shortages or other issues that could delay dispatch.
Stock management and purchasing
· Maintain accurate stock records and investigate discrepancies.
· Monitor stock levels and order replenishments in good time, allowing for supplier lead times.
· Track sales trends, flag changes in demand and adjust stock planning.
· Coordinate with factories and suppliers to keep product manufacturing and deliveries on schedule.
Goods received, quality control and product preparation
· Check incoming products and quantities against orders and delivery paperwork.
· Carry out quality checks and follow up defects or discrepancies.
· Finish, label and box products ready for sale.
Warehouse organisation and improvement
· Keep warehouse, packing and storage areas organised, tidy and safe.
· Help improve the layout and storage arrangements in our new premises.
· Suggest and implement improvements to stock handling, packing and warehouse processes.
About you
You will be comfortable taking responsibility for your own workload, making sensible decisions and following tasks through to completion. You should enjoy practical work, care about getting the details right and communicate clearly with colleagues and suppliers.
· Experience in warehouse work, fulfilment, stock control or a similar practical role.
· Attention to detail when checking products, orders and records.
· Confidence using spreadsheets, email and stock or order systems.
· Ability to balance daily dispatch deadlines with longer-term stock planning.
· A practical approach to solving problems and improving processes.
· Initiative, clear communication and enthusiasm for working in a small team.
Ideally, you will have experience in international shipping, including appropriate packing and labelling requirements and familiarity with commercial invoices and other shipping documentation. Experience placing supplier orders, monitoring manufacturing lead times or checking product quality would also be useful. You do not need to have done every part of the role before, but should be keen to learn and build your understanding of our products and processes.
How the role can develop
As you build experience and product knowledge, you can take on further responsibilities:
· Compare freight quotes and arrange transport for larger palletised orders.
· Find cost-effective courier services for different destinations and shipment types, maintaining reliable delivery.
· Monitor shipping, customs and trade rule changes, flagging effects on costs or deliveries.

Salary and working arrangements
Salary: £32,000–£36,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This is an on-site role. You must be within commuting distance of E10 7QE and able to travel to the workplace each working day.
