Head of Year – Inspirational Pastoral Lead

Thornhill Academy in Sunderland is seeking a Head of Year to oversee pastoral care, progress, attendance and behaviour of a year group, leading Form Tutors and collaborating with parents and external agencies.

You will monitor academic and personal development, lead year group meetings and assemblies, promote high standards, and contribute to the school’s ongoing improvement journey. The role is permanent, 36 hours a week, term-time plus 5 days, with a salary of £29,679.71 to £31,877.08.
