We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to join a growing renewable energy business delivering commercial and industrial solar PV projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple Solar PV projects from award through to commissioning and handover.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and delivery.
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and client stakeholders.
- Ensure all projects comply with current electrical regulations, industry standards, and HSE requirements.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and commercial performance.
- Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings.
- Support procurement activities and materials management.
- Produce and review project documentation, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Manage project variations and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for future work.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager within the renewable energy or construction sector.
- Strong Solar PV project delivery experience.
- Electrical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Excellent knowledge of BS7671 Wiring Regulations.
- Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and Health & Safety legislation.
- Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong commercial awareness and budget management skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Requirements
- SMSTS qualification.
- IOSH or NEBOSH certification.
- Experience delivering commercial rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.
- Knowledge of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and EV charging infrastructure.
- AP (Authorised Person) qualifications.
- Experience working on renewable energy frameworks and large-scale infrastructure projects.
