Assistant Planner
Location: Dungannon, Co. TyroneContract: Fixed Term (12 Months)Shift Pattern: Team A, Rotating Days (5&2)

Pilgrim’s Europe is seeking an organised and analytical Assistant Planner to join our Planning Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and supporting production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily production planning activities.
- Release and manage customer orders.
- Monitor stock levels and production requirements.
- Communicate shortages and availability updates.
- Produce and maintain planning reports.
- Update planning systems and records.
- Liaise with production, warehouse, and management teams.
- Complete shift handovers and ensure continuity across teams. (assistantplanner PDF)
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent IT and computer skills.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous planning experience desirable.
- Experience with Excel and planning systems advantageous.
- Food manufacturing experience preferred.
