  • Work closely with Site Management and other members of the site team to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
  • Carry out pre-use checks on plant, equipment and tools, reporting any defects or concerns immediately.
  • Ensure materials are used correctly and efficiently, helping to minimise waste through good housekeeping.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
  • Report any incidents, accidents, hazards or other points of concern to your Line Manager or Site Management without delay.
  • Follow all FM Conway Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.

You’ll ideally have:

We’re looking for someone with previous experience in a construction, highways or structures environment, who is confident carrying out a range of skilled construction activities.

You’ll have competence in at least one construction trade and ideally experience in areas such as pavement construction, kerbing, concreting, drainage or hard landscaping. You’ll hold a Level 2 NVQ qualification, a valid 360 Operator ticket and a CSCS card.

You’ll also have a good understanding of health and safety within a construction environment, alongside a medium/high-risk confined space qualification and a full UK driving licence.

Most importantly, you’ll take pride in your work, have a positive attitude and be someone who enjoys working as part of a team. If you bring the right skills and experience, we’ll support you with further training and development to help you continue building your career with FM Conway.
