Job Description Electrical Test Engineer n Droitwich n Permanent Up to £36,000 n An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Test Engineer to join a market-leading manufacturing company based in Droitwich. This hands-on role offers the chance to work on complex electrical and control systems, playing a key part in ensuring high-quality equipment is thoroughly tested, commissioned, and ready for customer delivery. n Main Duties Electrical Test Engineer n n Carry out comprehensive testing and inspection of equipment within a manufacturing environment n Connect electrical, water, and mechanical systems to facilitate testing and commissioning activities n Perform fault finding and diagnostics, including live PLC troubleshooting and problem resolution n Utilise a range of test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power analysers n Test and work safely with high-voltage electrical systems n Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve performance n Complete accurate testing documentation and quality records n Approve and sign off equipment prior to customer dispatch n n The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Electrical Test Engineer n n HNC qualified (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering n Strong knowledge of single and three-phase systems, along with high-power electrical circuits n Previous experience working with live electrical equipment n A solid understanding of analogue and digital electronics n Ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings and schematics n Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment n A meticulous approach with a strong commitment to quality and safety standards n Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities n Mechanically minded with a practical, hands-on approach n Flexibility to undertake occasional international travel to meet the needs of the role n n What we are able to offer: Electrical Test Engineer n n Competitive pension and bonus scheme n Additional annual leave awarded for long service n n If you are already an Industrial Electrical Test Engineer, Power Systems Test Engineer, Test & Commissioning Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, or Electrical Commissioning Technician, you may also be suitable for this role. n Please contact Anna Hinton on 01453 829521 or n Omega is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
