Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of industrial equipment in Queenstown . You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex mechanical issues, managing spare parts inventory, and overseeing maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and diagnostic testing to identify potential equipment failures.

• Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, and spare parts inventory using CMMS software.

Requirements

• National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
• Experience with CMMS (e.g., SAP, Maximo) and diagnostic tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in Queenstown .
