Projects Coordinator
Salary: £29,382 per annum (£23,505 pro rata)
Hours: 28 hours per week (flexible working pattern). Evening work required and occasional weekends.
Contract: Part-time, fixed-term for 18 months
Location: The Environment Centre
The Environment Centre is looking for an organised and proactive Projects Coordinator to help support and coordinate a range of community-focused environmental projects.
This Role Will Work Across Several Initiatives, Including
- BIG Climate Leap: Supporting community groups to reduce carbon emissions and take meaningful climate action through training, assessments and practical support.
- Switched On Energy Awareness Hub: Helping Swansea residents access impartial energy advice, support with bills and home heating, energy efficiency information, grants, and low-carbon opportunities.
- Swansea Community Green Spaces: Supporting communities to make greater use of local green spaces through engagement, training and practical activities.
As Projects Coordinator, you’ll help keep projects running smoothly, coordinate action plans, manage project data and reporting, support communications, and act as a key point of contact for community groups and service users.
This role would suit someone with a strong interest in environmental issues who enjoys organisation, problem-solving, relationship-building, and helping teams achieve their goals. They are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with at least three years’ experience in a coordinating role.
